Calculation groups bring a lot of value and functionality to #powerbi. It helps to avoid measure proliferation, the repeated calculation can be applied to any measure and helps in many other areas. All in all, it is excellent functionality and makes things easier.

I started my YouTube Power BI channel on Jan 1st, 2022, and posted 100 videos in the first 100 days. I truly appreciate your support and valuable feedback. Every comment and like/dislike motivates me to do more AND share more.

In the year 2022, I posted 150 videos overall about different areas of Power BI, such as data preparation using “M,” data modeling, Power BI service, Power BI Paginated reports, complex DAX measures, Calculation Groups, Field Parameters, and - most recently introduced - WINDOW DAX functions.

Inspiration for a lot of these videos stems from the real-time business questions asked by my customers, helping me share my knowledge and solutions with the community.
